ABOUT
US
The Beginning
KMA
Network Systems (KMA) was founded in 1998 to provide consulting
services to major corporations for the design, hardware selection,
implementation and testing for large, complex voice and data networks.
KMA was incorporated in California in 2005.
Our
Initial Work
A
major component for providing initial IT services was the creation
of detailed technical documentation. These documents included but
were not limited to: Needs Analyses, Network Infrastructure Design
documentation, Technical Proposals for the selection of equipment
providers, hardware, engineering analysis of traffic, system testing
and client training. Many of these documents covered the entire spectrum
from high bandwidth Tier One network traffic to packet level analysis
and security at the end user level.
The
End of an Era
As
its clients consolidated their networks into smaller homogenous
private internets, voice and data became easily integrated at lower
ownership costs to the users. The need for complex and expensive
hardware, implementation, training and support dramatically diminished.
Changing
Direction
As
a result of these changes in digital markets, KMA sought other high
tech avenues for its finely honed skills in providing outsourced
documentation services. For businesses to survive, change becomes
the only constant.
Our
New Mission
Because
of its experience with structured documentation in the IT domain,
KMA easily migrated into the technical publications arena, authoring,
editing and managing industry-compliant documents for OEMs, airframe
manufacturers and carriers.
Due
to the In Flight Entertainment industry’s migration into the
broadband data infrastructure, KMA was able to make a smooth transition
from IT support into an area in which it already had significant
expertise. Once established in the IFE world, it was a natural progression
to expand into the other areas, developing documentation for all
facets of industry.
Today
KMA supports other markets including:
*
Transportation
* Aerospace
* Communications
* Instrumentation
* OEM Manufacturing
* Services
* Information Technology
* Unclassified Governmental / Military Systems and Sub-Systems
